Work

These projects began where the existing answer stopped being enough.

The projects below came from different kinds of problems, so they led to different kinds of work. Some became tools or systems. Others gave me a way to investigate a question, test an idea, or learn something by doing it.

Supporting projects

Built to solve, learn, or test

None of these were assigned. One came out of a problem I was carrying at work; the rest began as questions I wanted to work through by building something.

Graduate capstone

A diagnostic workbook that turns the drive to go deeper into a process a leader can actually use.

What becomes visible when you stay with a problem longer than the first answer?

I am drawn to the point where a problem stops looking simple and begins to reveal the system beneath it. The toolkit grew from my concern that leaders often move from a visible symptom to a familiar solution before they have understood what is producing it. It guides the user through evidence, assumptions, patterns, stakeholder conditions, and competing explanations, then narrows that deeper inquiry into one focused next step.

Independent research and decision system

A living research database of Bay Area companies, roles, people, and market signals, refreshed by scheduled AI research agents, for finding where momentum is building and where I may be able to contribute now.

What would a job board look like if it tracked momentum, not just openings?

The Signal Map is a living research database that draws together Bay Area companies, roles, key people, events, funding, growth, hiring activity, and other market signals I am tracking. Scheduled AI research agents refresh those signals on a recurring basis so the picture keeps gathering instead of aging. It then compares what it holds against my goals, current strengths, and the value I can offer, helping me distinguish companies worth approaching now from longer-term relationship targets.

Independent operations tool

A personal operating system built to hold the moving parts of managing two programs in one place.

How do you manage two programs when no single tool can hold the whole picture?

Managing two programs meant coordinating two sets of teams, stakeholders, vendor relationships, schedules, compliance requirements, documentation, and recurring decisions across tools that never produced one reliable view. I built the Program Manager Portal to bring those moving parts into one place organized around the decisions I needed to make. I use it as my own system for keeping complex work from living only in my head.

Independent learning system

A source-traced system that helps me carry graduate study into unfamiliar roles, industries, and problems.

I wanted my graduate education to keep working when the context changed.

I built a local AI-assisted system that brings a new role, industry, or problem into conversation with what I studied in psychology and organizational leadership. It returns source-traced connections, shows where those ideas can add value, and marks where my existing knowledge is not enough. The goal is to enter unfamiliar work with a stronger frame, better questions, and a clear sense of what I still need to learn.

Independent listening and learning tool

A private audio learning tool for hearing the language, concepts, and tensions of customer meetings before I am inside one.

What can I learn from the work before I am inside it?

I built a private audio learning tool that gives me simulated customer meetings, account situations, and debriefs to listen to. The purpose is immersion: to hear the language, concepts, tensions, and decision points that do not appear in a job description, then flag what is unfamiliar so I know what to study next. It is a self-designed learning experiment.
